We have lots of the latest news and will be giving you a preview of the Lunar New Year aka Chinese New Year coming at the end of the month. Did you know that there are at least 8 other countries that celebrate the Lunar New Year with a public holiday?
Our new secretary Wendy Mui will tell us all about the year of the SNAKE and what it means and how our Asian friends celebrate the new year with customs, food and fortunes. Do you know how to say Happy New Year in Chinese? Mandarin and Cantonese? We are planning to have a few tickets for the Chinese Heritage Club New Year's Celebration to purchase so bring cash or check if you are interested. Wear your Asian garments if you wish. Come and learn and enjoy the latest chatter, travel tips and celebrate birthdays. Learn about our club New Year's Resolutions and our regular Food and Friends dine outs.
